Sweet Sweet Summertime

I know that I said I would be better at keeping this updated, so just consider these past two weeks an exception. Life has been so crazy with finals, work, and trying to finish school projects. However, it is now freedom at last! I cannot explain in words how excited I am about not having to study, write papers, or sit through lectures for three months. The closest way I can explain this excitement is: YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways, despite trying to prepare for finals some exciting things have happened in the last few weeks. 1. I bought a hammock. I know that does not sound exciting to most people, but it is probably one of the most relaxing things to do in the whole wide world. 2. I started running again and can make it a mile without stopping, which is really a huge improvement for me. 3. It is warm outside, which means it is time to get my tan on :) 4. I had the pleasure of celebrating Hillary's 21st Birthday with her (picture at bottom). I can't believe we are 21. It seems like just yesterday we were 18 year olds starting at UWF. Where does the time go???? The church series "Christian" is still just as good as ever. Last Sunday Andy Stanley talked about how Christians love loopholes. However, as described in a previous message when it all comes down to it, "Love your neighbor as youself" eseentially is the greatsted commandment in the Christian faith. If people used this a catalyst for what they filter their thoughts, words, and actions through, there should be no room for loopholes. When we are so focused on pleasing God, we do not have time to create ways to get around what we should be doing in the first place. Anyways, I should probably get going now. I am about to head over to the Scott's house for dinner. Thanks to Amy Warr I am making a yummy chicken casserole for it. I hope everyone has a great week! :)

Verse for the week: "May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and redemer." Psalm 19:14
